I’ve blogged all my life. Well, at least it feels that way. I actually started in 2006. I was in my early twenties recounting dating mishaps and the highs and lows of the single life. Here I am over a decade later with a very different voice and take on life.
In 2000, I met a guy. We didn’t fall in love. Not yet, anyway. We stayed pen pals for several years. We hung out a few times. Then, I suddenly couldn’t live without him. And, eventually, he discovered he couldn’t live without me either. Before we knew it, we didn’t just fall in to love, we were overcome by it.
So we got married…14 years after we met.
Today, my husband David and I live in my hometown in Missouri after living for a stretch in West Virginia and Tennessee. We pastor a small church here. While I consider myself a pastor’s wife, we’re actually both licensed ministers and work as a team. We haven’t had any children yet. So, you won’t hear about cloth diapering or breast feeding in these parts. However, you will likely find a plethora of ideas that inspire creativity and adventure. My husband says I’m ‘multi-passionate.” And I own that title…with a passion.
I also truly live on a little bit of coffee and a whole lot of Jesus. I sing like a canary (or like a chicken if you catch me on an off day). Like what you see? You’re likely to see more if you stick around.
